Carl Mendenza showed up in the Portuguese night scene in 2002 as a Light Jockey at the Industria club. His passion for music made him start performing also as a DJ at the Industria and at some Lisbon after-hours parties. Later he moved to the O2 Lx club where he played as the resident Dj since the club opened. Formerly known as DJ WKIKO, Carl quickly reached a desirable status. In these 3 years of career he has had the privilege to share the turntables with some of the best Djs from all over the world. Owning an excellent technique and an eclectic musical taste, he is extremely flexible; as he spins from electro to progressive hard house, Carl Mendenza is a DJ who is able to push everyone to the dance floor and give them great moments of guaranteed vibration.
